The Role: The ATS flight test engineer will be responsible for the planning, conduct and reporting of ATS ground and flight test activities for experimental, prototype UAV aircraft and control stations. They will coordinate with other elements of the team, including software and hardware designers, to ensure program objectives are satisfied. They will develop test plans, procedures and reports, evaluate ground and flight test data, and participate in UAV aircraft and control station design and development, recommending changes to design based on operational considerations and program objectives. In support of Capability development activities, they will work with UAS Operators to conduct simulation-based military operations and advanced concepts analysis to ensure test activities achieve program capability objectives. They will work with simulation engineers to ensure activities planned during ground and flight test provide safe and effective outcomes. About You: An experienced test professional and engineer, with the right attributes to work within a dynamic development environment alongside the other members of ATS team. You have a ‘can do' attitude and are a strong collaborator. You will have a broad range of engineering and test experience, such as developmental and operational test on military platforms.
