We are now looking for a talented Sales Executive The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre - Sales Executive The Role The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre is Western Australia's premier event destination which is home to Perth's top gala dinners and events, large scale conferences to small boardroom meetings, corporate events, exciting exhibitions, weddings and theatres performances. Reporting to the Director Sales, this position is a sales role for PCEC and is responsible for assisting to drive the corporate sales for the business with a specific focus and responsibility area - your assigned corporate markets and the achievement of set revenue targets. The Sales Executive is responsible for an effective sales activity programme to generate function business in line with corporate objectives, as well as the booking, contracting and efficient co-ordination of the events to ensure that client requirements and expectations are met. You will have shared accountability for achieving set revenue targets and the account management of the clients' business, a strong alignment with the specific needs of the market, a degree of flexibility to deliver on specific wants and a strong focus on transaction/execution. You will be responsible for ensuring that bookings are managed in such a way that revenue opportunities and profitability are maximised and that repeat business opportunities are optimised. Key attributes of the successful applicant include: QUALIFICATIONS
- Tertiary qualifications in Event/Hospitality Management are desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within hospitality or an event related environment is required.
