As a result of an upcoming modification program, Airbus currently has a fixed term (2 – 3 years) opportunity available for a qualified and experienced maintenance controller.

In order to meet training requirements, it is essential that you are able to commence employment by July 2021.

About the role

As a member of the Maintenance Planning and MCS / CAMM2 team, your primary responsibility will be to manage all CAMM2 operations for our RAAF Base Richmond NSW Operations in accordance with relevant Airbus and Defence instructions and procedures. In addition, this position will also be responsible for:

  • Maintaining maintenance databases and worksheets
  • Developing and providing appropriate reports to support maintenance management
  • Conducting independent reviews of aircraft maintenance documentation (AMD)
  • Providing CAMM2 guidance and support to appropriate staff as required

About you

The skills and experience best suited to this role:

  • Completion of a CAMM2 Data Manager course, or ability to complete within an agreed period
  • Experience in MCS activities
  • High-level defence airworthiness regulatory knowledge
  • Understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation and practices

Other skills which would be highly desired:

  • Trade qualification in Aircraft Maintenance
