Role Description

We’re looking for Application Support Leads to join our high performing team.

The Application Support professional will have a comprehensive understanding of application monitoring and debugging tools with the ability to lead a team working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

On a day to day basis you will:

  • Manage the delivery of IT support operations including analysis, triage and initial fix for system generated events and escalated incidents

  • Guide the use of advanced technical and service knowledge to perform event correlation and diagnosis

  • Ensure team ownership for the coordination, investigation and documentation of system events

  • Ensure consistent execution of system health checking and housekeeping activities.

  • Team with technical engineers and the service desk to ensure the coordinated management of incidents

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement in service delivery to the client.

  • Supervise other team members


  • Basic qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in similar roles

  • Software development skills, including knowledge of SQL, XML, Linux and Java.

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Team leadership skills


  • Essential Requirement

    Eligibility for an Australian Government Security Clearance is mandatory for this role (must be an Australian Citizen) and current Baseline security clearance would be highly advantageous.
