About the role This is a great opportunity for an Administrator to join NPI - Water and Maintenance team, providing administrative assistance to ensure the efficient running of this dynamic department. The role is offered on a 5/2/4/3 FIFO roster from Perth. As the Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the site based team in identifying and implementing initiatives that contribute value to the business;
  • Arranging appointments, meetings and functions for NPI teams;
  • Coordinating appointments, accesses and arrangements for visitors;
  • Organising travel and accommodation;
  • Coordinating appointments for team meetings and assist with venue bookings;
  • Creating purchase requisitions and process service entries via SAP;
  • Raising work orders for facilities maintenance as requested in SAP;
  • Conducting adhoc reporting, analysis and develop presentations as required;
  • Assisting in setting up new employees and embedded contractors including network access, site access, additional hardware requests, training requirements and AMEX applications;
  • Ordering and maintaining the stationery, office equipment and crib room supplies;
  • Providing assistance to the team in updating Continuous Improvement database (WAVE) ensuring compliance to the Change Management Procedure;
  • Managing confidential and sensitive matters with diplomacy;
  • Taking meeting minutes where required; and
  • Maintaining filing of relevant information including maintaining the Camps and Aviation Maintenance electronic filing system and access rights.
About You You will be an experienced Administrator who has previously supported a busy team with a proven ability to work autonomously, proactively establish priorities and meet time critical deadlines. You consider yourself a self-starter who works well in a team with first-class communication skills. It is important that you have strong attention to detail, along with good problem solving abilities. You will be an advocate for leveraging digital technologies to enable collaboration and the simplification of tasks, and possess strong knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Sharepoint and Video Conferencing. Previous experience with SAP would be beneficial. Location You will be primarily based at our Area C mine on a fly-in fly-out roster however your time will be split between Perth and Site. Mining Area C is located approximately 120kms North of Newman in the West Australia Pilbara Region. The outstanding facilities at the FIFO village include; a fully equipped state of the art gymnasium, swimming pool, squash, tennis and basketball courts, indoor golf driving range, netted cricket pitch and recreation rooms.
