Join our Aviation & Toll Air Express leadership team as their National Sales Manager based in Brisbane. Working autonomously, with 1 direct report, you will be the master of your own destiny in this niche area, selling our services and growing business whilst retaining and managing a large portfolio of clients. 

This role requires the skills and experience of a seasoned sales manager who possesses knowledge in aircraft charters or of aviation industry aircraft. You will have demonstrated experience retaining and developing new business and managing a large budget. You will also be adept at driving efficient and focused national sales initiatives to grow revenue. 

As the National Sales Manager you will:

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with major clients to ensure service levels are maintained as well as providing solutions and flexibility as required.
  • Continually leverage effective relationships with business partners internally and externally to identify opportunities and achieve sales growth.
  • Analyze performance reports to ensure the business objectives and customer service levels are at industry best practice.
  • Liaise with other Sales regions regarding business opportunities, co-ordination of operations, and deployment of people to optimum advantage.
  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of the regions Business Development budget, ensuring division expenditure is within budget by analyzing cost effectiveness and directing cost control activities where required.
  • Manage Charter requirements – enquiries, quotes, agreements, charter briefings, charter costings.


To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Multiple years experience in a similar service selling role, ideally in the Aviation industry.
  • Expert understanding of sales & marketing principles and processes.
  • Extensive experience in an ‘Air freight’ transport environment including knowledge of transport and distribution issues and business impacts. 
  • Computer literacy to a sound level.
  • Sound operational knowledge and understanding of the aviation industry and an in-depth knowledge of the Civil Aviation Regulatory requirements (CASA, ICAO, IATA, etc) is desirable.
