About the role

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer you are primarily responsible for performing all “On Aircraft Maintenance” activities while also conducting “Off Aircraft Maintenance”, specialist trade maintenance activities and supporting operational units in Industry specific tasks.

Reporting to the Team Lead Aircraft Maintenance, through respective Aircraft Technical Leads, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day activities to include:

  • Execution of maintenance within the bounds of the authority level delegated by the relevant Responsible Manager
  • Support the safe and successful execution of Maintenance Services assigned to the Maintenance site under the Airbus MO
  • Identify new opportunities and assist in the development of associated business cases for enhancement of maintenance services
  • Support the management of hot topics and escalation process in Maintenance

About you

To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment, have well developed relationship skills as well as good verbal and written skills. You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment. The skills and experience best suited to this role:

  • High-Level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and it's applicability in the relevant environment
  • Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices
  • Experience in an Approved Maintenance Organisation environment
  • Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications
  • Cert IV (or equivalent) in Aeroskills in Avionics, issued through a Registered Training Organisation as applicable to your role.
  • Ability to obtain a ‘B' level Military Aircraft Maintenance License.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction
