Our Talent Acquisition team is entering an exciting chapter of redesign to ensure we are well positioned to build the workforce of the future. You will play a key role in helping to shape the Talent Acquisition function and identify new ways of working.

As the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering and managing internal and external sourcing and recruitment related activities for the Qantas Group DigiTech portfolio including Group Technology, Qantas Customer, Digital & Marketing, Loyalty and Jetstar Digital & Technology. You will be responsible for creating and implementing effective recruitment marketing campaign strategies for all roles across the business unit as well as ensuring a positive candidate experience which provides an effective, efficient and fair process which reinforces our organisation's employment brand is critical to the success of this role.

Building relationships with business partners and stakeholders such as HR Business Partners, Head of HR, Business Unit Leaders and Senior Executives will be an essential requirement of this role whilst maintaining a positive 'can-do' attitude and being persistent in delivering a leading, cost effective service to the Qantas Group.

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will also be responsible for coaching, training and supporting the team on effective processes, use of Workday functionality whilst driving continuous improvement and focusing on Quality Assurance for the team.

You’ll have:

  • Extensive relevant professional experience in Talent Acquisition managing recruitment strategies for Digital and/or Technology portfolios
  • The ability to project manage large recruitment campaigns/transformations to ensure we meet recruitment deadlines
  • Demonstrated market knowledge of talent challenges relevant to Qantas Group talent needs for Digital, IT & Qantas Loyalty
  • A strategic mindset, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement
  • A natural confidence to present in front of large groups who may be both internal and external to Qantas
  • Ability to adopt a positive and flexible approach to change and be comfortable in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Good problem-solving capability and ability to exercise sound judgment, exploring innovative approaches to sourcing strategies
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to advise stakeholders in a trusted manner at all levels when required
  • Proven experience in talent pooling, headhunting and networking within the relevant Talent community is key to this role
  • Experience leading a team to successful outcomes highly desired
