WesTrac has come through COVID stronger than ever and our WA Business is booming. We have an excellent opportunity available to join our Port Hedland Branch as a Parts Supervisor.

Port Hedland is an excellent family environment with easy access to a wide range of outdoor lifestyle activities - beaches, reef snorkelling, land, creek or deep sea fishing, crabbing, diving, boating, camping and prospecting just to name a few.

As a Parts Supervisor you will be capable of leading by example, mentoring and developing your team, communicating job expectations, ensuring employee training and development is prioritized and ensuring customer support is maintained.

This position has ownership for achieving parts sales and is critical in building and maintaining strong relationships with current and future clients.

This is a strategically focused role that will be involved with business development and business planning while continuously overseeing the operational side of the division; it will develop, lead and mentor a small parts team through successful sales and business development strategies that will create and implement.

You will be required to travel to Karratha and Telfer and to attend leadership meetings in Guildford as required.

This Residential position is 10 days on, 4 days off, 5 days on, 2 days off working 11-hour days.

To be successful the following is required:

  • Past success in a Parts leadership role with direct experience in a hands on operational environment.
  • At least 5 years’ experience of logistics and warehousing
  • Experience with CAT systems such as DBS, SIS essential
  • Exceptional leadership skills within a service and operational environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Current driver's license
  • Previous experience in hose building desirable
  • Exposure to working environment with chain of responsibility compliance
