About the role 

Based from our Mt Thorley Branch and servicing the Hunter Valley, we are seeking a dual trade mechanic/auto electrician to join our team. Leveraging off your Caterpillar product knowledge and excellent diagnostics and troubleshooting skills, you will be required to offer OEM support providing our customers with service and breakdown solutions on mine and customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing repairs, maintenance and inspections on a range of customer equipment
• Diagnosing and reporting for preventative maintenance
• Autonomously providing solutions, service and satisfaction to our customers

Skills & Experience

• Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology 
• Current ARC Air Conditioning Licence highly desirable
• Several years post-trade experience in a similar role
• Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience 
• Excellent diagnostic and repair skills and a strong commitment to service excellence 
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills
• Dedication to maintaining and promoting safe work practices
