About the position:

WDP has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager who will seek to deliver cost effective designs, manage the construction and maintenance of laboratories, clinics and offices for Western Diagnostic Pathology in order to achieve key business requirements and strategies.

About you:
  • Trade qualified in either electrical or building (essential), additional qualifications in electronics or refrigeration (desirable)
  • Project Management experience
  • Drafting skills – interior design
  • Job Database Building Operations Module skillset
  • Excellent leadership, relationship, communication and strong negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of the Australian healthcare industry and/or Pathology
  • Highly focused on exceeding customer expectations
  • Good planning, execution skills and solid business acumen
  • Attention to detail and committed to excellence
  • Experience and proven success managing and negotiating with customer group
  • 5+ years’ experience in facilities management and security systems is essential
  • Exposure to Pathology or Health Services Industry is desirable.
