new role as Price Distribution Advisor will see you creating, developing and implementing continued improvement of process, procedure, and techniques to deliver product to market effectively and ensure that Qantas retains a leading edge and fit for purpose standard practice that maximises revenue. You will provide a link between International Revenue Management and other QF business units on any cross functional projects to provide specialist technical advice and support as an SME in the development and maintenance of price distribution.
In addition, you will ensure that our pricing products are distributed to the market accurately and in a timely manner using systems such as ATPco and FLX-M. You will act as a key contact point for problem identification and resolution in price distribution as well as providing support to all teams in the development of pricing distribution knowledge.
You’ll have:
Expert knowledge of tariffs, IATA fare construction and ticketing
Extensive experience required in airfare distribution using ATPCo and FLX-M
Strong project management experience
Excellent knowledge of airline pricing, sales and distribution practices
High-level knowledge of procedures for establishing passenger fares essential
Previous experience in an airline pricing related position
The ability to self-manage, in a team environment and work effectively with all levels of personnel
Resilience; able to deal with change, challenges and setbacks and able to deal with complexity and ambiguity
Commercially astute with the ability to balance both company and departmental commercial interests
Degree in business related discipline desirable
