JOB DESCRIPTION

Our AEW&C International team is an integral part of the global Boeing network providing support to our UK and other international customers. We provide a broad range of acquisition project services including systems engineering, mission systems development, ground systems development, aircraft modification support, product support and training.
As a result of recent contract awards from the customer as well as further international growth prospects we are seeking a Business Support Specialist to join our team on a part time basis. Based in Williamtown, the successful candidate will be an experienced administration professional with strong communication skills and the ability to be flexible in a high paced, ever evolving environment.
The role is part time (50%) with the preference that hours would be worked each day of the working week. The role is well suited to a mixture of working from home and working at our primary Newcastle site at the Williamtown Aerospace Centre, adjacent to RAAF Base Williamtown.
Responsibilities

* Conduct general business administration tasks
* Assist general project administration
* Support our team in their day to day execution activities
* Demonstrate innovative thinking in solving day-to-day problems

Experience/Qualifications

* Previous experience (5 yrs+) working in project or team-based environments
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on building successful relationships with a range of stakeholders
* Competent with office based IT systems and applications, such as MS Office and Sharepoint
* Previous experience in project management is desirable

Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet Defence security requirements and will be expected to obtain an NV1 security clearance.
