About the role

We are currently looking for a Technical Single Point of Contact to join our team in Townsville in a full time role. This role acts as the focal point for MRH-90 technical support at 5 Aviation Regiment (5 Avn) in Townsville between the customer (5 Aviation Regiment), MRH Platform Services, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Delegated Partner Companies (DPCs). The role will be located on the Army base in Townsville, and ideally co-located with 5 Avn.

This role is a dynamic, high-tempo and pivotal role being the focal point for all engineering operational issues and technical requests raised by the 5 Avn Maintenance Organisation. This role is focussed on improving technical responsiveness of technical support requests raised by 5 Avn to assist in improving MRH-90 availability and serviceability at 5 Avn. 

About you

The knowledge, skills and experience best suited to this role would include:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (relevant to maintenance and/or continuing airworthiness management or aircraft/aircraft components); or an aircraft maintenance engineer/technician qualification in Avionics/Mechanical/Structures trade stream.
  • Experience working within a Continuing Airworthiness environment.
  • Enovia Experience, or experience with similar Product Lifecycle Management Tool (PLMT).
  • Experience working in a Defence Project Environment
  • Systems Engineering Experience
  • Project Management Experience
