Reporting to the Load Control Supervisor on shift, the Load Control Planner is responsible for supervision of and forward planning of flights – day of ops + 24 hours ensuring any loading issues or restrictions are mitigated as much as practicable in advance, avoiding costly delays and/or service disruptions; and produces manual and/or automated documentation to facilitate the safe load control of company aircraft. The Load Control Planner has a comprehensive knowledge and adheres to all Aircraft Limitations, Divisional, Company and Regulatory Policies and procedures.

You’ll have –

  • A high level of customer service focus with the ability to interact with staff and customers by demonstrating a genuine interest in dealing with their concerns or needs.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail with the ability to process technical information

  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to listen and question effectively

  • Ability to work in a team with minimum supervision

  • Ability to interact with staff and customers by demonstrating a genuine interest in dealing with their concerns or needs.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key personnel.

  • Intermediate proficiency with computers and applications, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.

  • Ability to document and report loading system failures and anomalies

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Altéa FM system.

  • Develop and maintains a working knowledge of the Altéa CM system.

  • An aptitude to hold current certification for each QantasLink aircraft type in order to comply with the Civil Aviation Authority regulations
