Certifii Pty Ltd is currently one of the fastest growing professional service companies in Australia. We audit and assess businesses that are seeking certification in international ISO standards for quality, safety, environment, and cyber security management. 


To further drive this growth, we are looking for a business development person with a professional services, consultancy or technical background, to build new business. Reporting to the General Manager, this is a business-to-business marketing and sales role. 


The industries we predominantly certify include but are not limited to, Oil & Gas, Mining & Resources, Civil Design & Construction, Engineering, Transport & Logistics, Renewable Energy, Defense and Aerospace. As the Business Develop Manager, you will be instrumental in the growth of Certifii by increasing certification subscriptions and maintaining our existing group of prestigious clients within a variety of industry sectors. 


The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. 


This is a national role, providing the opportunity to fast track your career and for the right-minded individual to grow and manage a significant stake in the business. There will be an initial orientation and training period based at our North Brisbane office, after which you will have the autonomy to manage your own time and work remotely (from home). We are looking for the right person who can self-manage to achieve the desired results

Responsibilities

  • Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand
  • Maintain existing business

  • Managing social media and digital marketing strategy to promote Certifii
  • Develop industry networks
  • Market analysis


Qualifications, skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3-4 years' prior industry related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented


What is necessary is a demonstrated commercial acumen, professional image and tenacity with the ability to apply the right strategies to the right barriers in order to find and secure new business. The successful candidate will be fully supported in getting up to speed with our systems, existing clients and target markets on commencement.
