In addition to the ongoing management of existing partners, this role will also involve embedding new partners into the business - both the launch and business integration but also working alongside the CXDO function to map the CRM experience (including automation).

Exceptional stakeholder management will be required to deliver best in class outcomes - both with external partners and internal colleagues to ensure programs are member centric and achieve partner and Velocity financial goals.

Due to the diverse remit of the marketing team, there's an expectation that from time to time you will work on initiatives beyond your portfolio - as 'pitching in' is what makes our team great.

This is a 6-month fixed term contract.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Lead the Coalition marketing stream and develop strategies at a partner level for existing partners, for new partner launches and specific partner lifecycle stages
  • Marketing authority for the Flybuys partnership within the business, with accountability for developing, implementing and optimising the communication strategy that delivers to set commercial targets.
  • Leverage the power of Velocity's Coalition partners to acquire customers and drive loyalty for Virgin Australia
  • Develop a marketing plan to meet a given target including response modelling, integration into existing lifecycle programs and the planning and delivery of ongoing marketing
  • Consistently monitors reporting to measure campaign success and track against targets - proactively developing and implementing pivot strategies
  • Marketing spend budget management at a campaign level
  • Inspire change and provide thought leadership through all levels of the organisation
  • Champion and influence the business to adapt to digital capabilities
  • Develop a culture of strong collaboration and genuine conversations to reach outcomes

About you:

  • Experience delivering marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Confidence when it comes to data and operations literacy, assessing opportunities and turning insights into business plans
  • Ability to work with campaign management tools in complex environments
  • Has a breadth of understanding of various functions, and works alongside them to solve goals and challenges
  • Ability to take initiative rather than wait for direction
  • Know when to escalate issues or opportunities
  • Has an understanding of digital capability and proactively leverages to enhance and optimise campaign constructs
  • Establishes a strong network across all lines of business to deliver results
  • Embraces a leadership role within cross-functional teams to reach the business outcome
  • Presentation skills – confident presenting to partners and senior management
  • External stakeholder management (agency and partners)
  • Adaptability to changing ways of working
  • Demonstrate role-model behaviour when it comes to adding value to your team/division/organisation - even beyond current role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to follow business process to required timelines
