The role

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting finances and necessary documents to Government
  • Developing and managing compliance and audit schedules
  • Managing student progress and maintaining a student reporting and management system
  • Guaranteeing all guidelines and specific standards are met
  • Understanding detailed manuals and being able to follow them accurately
  • Testing student requirements diligently to ensure they are suitable to attend
  • Ensuring audits go smoothly and the company is prepared for all audits
  • Ensuring student files and reports in the file management system are up to date and accurate
  • Providing strong students support to ensure students are progressing according to schedule, that their wellbeing and reasonable needs are met
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of the VET sector and regulatory requirement
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with VET Quality Framework
  • Conduct: Internal audits, course reviews, assessment validation and marketing reviews(including website and social media)
  • Develop, review and maintain relevant policies and procedures

Key Company Expectations

  • Takes initiative, is a positive team member and exhibits strong communication skills


  • Previous experience in a government compliance and financial reporting focused role for an RTO or similar organisation
  • Superior knowledge of ASQA (Australian Skills qualification authority)
  • Experience working with the Australian Education Standards
  • A proven track record of developing and creating courses
  • Experience with CRICOS approvals for International Students
  • Experience in dealing with students and maintaining a student reporting and management system
  • Ability and understanding to write policies and procedures
  • Capability to be open minded and fit the company culture
  • Driven and highly motivated professional who can operate within a plan but also show innovation and initiative
  • Positive can-do attitude, strong communicator, trustworthy and a team player
  • Background or understanding of the aviation industry


  • Experience in dealing with complaints
  • Ability to adapt into a new and possibly different environment
  • Has knowledge of sales and/or marketing

Salary: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
