An excellent opportunity exists to join Hardman Bros. Pty Ltd, a privately owned, family-run business in Dingley Village, Vic.

We manufacture products used by the Mining, Motorsport, Aerospace, Defence, Medical and Scientific sectors servicing local and overseas markets.

• Attention to detail and strict quality control are essential elements for this job profile.
• Good communication skills and a friendly disposition

Your daily duties include but are not limited to:

• Mechanical Engineer to set up and adjust metalworking machines and equipment for: Shigiya GPS-30, Shigiya GAC-30 and Reishauer Thread Grinder
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; follow manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; call for repairs, and complete the daily check sheets.
• Use a computer mouse to access and open/close computer documents.

This position is permanent full time, Monday to Friday. Remuneration to be negotiated on skills and experience.

Full-Time hours: 38 per week

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

• Overtime pay
• Penalty rates

Experience:

• Grinding: 5 years (Preferred)
• Reishauer Thread Grinder: 1 year (Preferred)
• Shigiya GPS-30 : 1 year (Preferred)
• Shigiya GAC-30: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Eligibility:

• Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Preferred)
