About the role
Due to customer demand we are currently looking for a highly experienced Field Service Plant Mechanic. Our Plant Mechanics are recognised for their exact knowledge of CAT equipment – well trained, professional, and experts in their field. The best tooling is available, and you can continue to learn alongside some of the best trade’s professionals. We have an excellent leadership team, and great opportunities for trade and career advancement.
Key Responsibilities
You will apply your high level of technical skill and expertise to carry out these duties in a customer focused manner. You will have a strong drive, motivation and direction to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment. The ability to work autonomously is a must, as well as dedication to maintaining safe work practices. Performing repairs, maintenance and inspections on a range of customer equipment
Skills & Experience
- Heavy mechanical trade qualification, ideally Cert III Mobile Plant Qualification (including Certificate of Proficiency)
- Several years post-trade experience or fresh out of apprenticeship with the right attitude
- Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience
- Excellent stand-alone diagnostic and repair skills with a strong commitment to service excellence
- Excellent attitude to your work, and dedication to safe work practices
- Ability to travel regionally as required to perform required duties
