The Business Operations department supports Lockheed Martin programs by performing activities that drive efficient planning and execution of enterprise financial and resource investments across various functions, including but not limited to operations, supply chain, program management, sustainment, business finance, and/or contracts. Reporting to the RMS Deputy Business Operations Manager, the Program Finance Lead position is available on a full time permanent basis and located in Mawson Lakes, Adelaide.

Your responsibilities will include:

The Program Finance Lead will oversee the financial modelling, statusing and reporting for both current and future contract work scopes. This will include ownership of all customer financial data prepared by the program including customer invoicing, periodic cost reviews, annual cost true ups, rates reviews, cost models, future rates models and customer financial reporting. You will proactively manage financial inputs from other parts of the business and ensure they meet internal financial and customer invoicing/reporting requirements. In addition to the above you will be responsible for;
  • Overseeing financial modelling, statusing and reporting for both current and future contract work scopes
  • Ownership of all customer financial data prepared by the program including customer invoicing, periodic cost reviews, annual cost true ups, rates reviews, cost models, future rates models and customer financial reporting
  • Proactively managing financial inputs from other parts of the business and ensure they meet internal financial and customer invoicing/reporting requirements
  • Leading the development, maintenance and reporting of program financial commitments both near term (current year) and long range (3-5 years)
  • Establishing and maintaining cost models for future phases of contract and ensure these are aligned with program and customer expectations
  • Actively supporting business growth opportunities to ensure adequate planning, estimating and pricing discipline are performed and that relevant and appropriate documentation is produced for the Business Operations aspects

About you:

You will have extensive experience in a similar role preferably within a defence project environment and you will have significant experience building and operating models for tracking and reporting financial performance. You will be a natural at building relationships and your attention to detail will be exceptional, understanding the costly impact on our business. You will have experience reviewing, interpreting and reporting on Earned Value performance, including ability to review and interrogate subcontractor Earned Value performance. You will have strong negotiation skills and the ability to produce, analyse, and interpret highly complex reports and be a confident communicator when presenting these reports to business leaders.
