Hofmann Engineering currently has operations within Australia in Western Australia, New South Wales and Victoria as well as Chile and Peru with growth and expansion plans for the future.

Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a driven & passionate Boilermaker - Welder to play an integral part in our Newcastle workshop on a full-time permanent basis.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Appropriate Trade Certificates
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Ability to work varied shifts
  • Proven experience in GMAW, FCAW, SAW & GTAW. FCAW & SAW are essential
  • Experience in operating a gas fired furnace would be advantageous but not essential 
  • Additional qualifications and licences would be advantageous
  • Forklift & Crane / dogman tickets would be highly regarded
