  • Callington are speciality chemical manufacturers for global aviation, industrial manufacturing and maintenance markets. We specialise in the development, manufacture and marketing of innovative, specialty chemical solutions to the aviation, metal working, welding and metal treatment, industrial, fuel additive and non-destructive testing industries.

    Callington’s Australian office seeks an experienced skilled professional to fill the role of Project Coordinator / Manager. This role requires co-ordination of the global regulatory team to ensure all regulatory submissions are tracked and completed within agreed timeframes:

    • Designing plans for the execution of the projects
    • Coordinating the projects between different departments and business units
    • Ensuring each project is following the scope and direction as per the agreed parameters
    • Documentation control
    • Creating charts and schedules
    • Risk analysis - Managing and resolving Risks and Issues
    • Presenting and meeting timelines
    • Working with vendors / service providers
    • Monitoring and Reporting progress
    • Co-ordinate with several teams within Callington
    • Work with Callington satellite offices and business units
    • Work with different departments on various task

    The position will be full time, with hours to be worked between 9.00 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday with direct reports situated overseas requiring cross-cultural management.

    Successful applicants must have:

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong knowledge of project management methods and tools
    • Excellent computer skills, in particular data management and dissemination
    • Managerial experience in cross-cultural contexts
    • Ability to coordinate with different departments and business units
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Languages: Proficiency in English and second language French at C2 is required.
    • De gree in one of the following: Law, Patent Officer, Chemistry, Entomology, Pharmacology, Veterinary or Aviation.
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience with demonstrated chain of examples.
