Qantas Loyalty is a high performing business and has a history of launching exciting new brands and services that make a difference to its millions of Frequent Flyer and Business Rewards members. Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Business Rewards remain at the core of the program, while the business has evolved to include a number of new ventures and other businesses such as Qantas Money, Qantas Insurance, Qantas Hotels & Holidays and Qantas Wine.

The Marketing Manager, Qantas Money manages the marketing activity that supports partners and commercial revenue targets for the Loyalty business. It will provide input into marketing strategies and planning that support marketing objectives – both acquisition and retention, across the Qantas Money portfolio of products (primarily our Premier range of credit cards and Qantas Travel Money). This role is responsible for the execution and delivery of the activity associated with marketing campaigns. Working closely with the Marketing Leadership team, the Commercial team and our partners to identify opportunities to drive growth.

Further to the above this role also manages the execution of integrated partner campaign activity including creative development, project planning, media planning, growth and performance optimisations, stakeholder management, developing and delivering campaigns that meet business objectives and drive return on investment. Tight campaign delivery and timely communication with all internal and external customers and stakeholders throughout the campaign development process is key. Testing creative outcomes is highly regarded and evaluating and reporting on campaign activity to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

You’ll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline
  • Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail
  • 5+ years’ experience in critically reviewing marketing collateral to determine fit with brand and ensure they are commercially and legally sound.
  • Sound analytical and reporting skills.
  • Experience in Financial Services
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with internal commercial and product stakeholders, and external clients/agencies/partners
  • Experience in using email build, website CMS management and delivery systems
  • Performance and growth mindset
  • Experience in dealing with Legal and in understanding and communicating legal and commercial constraints to partners.
  • Negotiation skills - balancing Loyalty objectives and the member proposition for successful outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively liaise with Qantas management, and senior executive levels of external partners
