About the role

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced maintenance professionals to join our Maintenance Capability team based in Richmond. The role is responsible for the ensuring the maintenance standards and competencies that support maintenance management systems are compliant with our current approvals. You will be required to update company polices, processes and procedures used by the maintenance organisation to ensure compliance with the various regulatory requirements. Additionally, this role must monitor risks to ongoing regulatory compliance, prepare management and technical reports to meet our contractual requirements and to provide assistance with the maintenance organisation investigations.

About you

To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to drive project outcomes, work autonomously and to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment. The knowledge, skills and experience best suited to this role include:

  • Strong technical or maintenance management experience in the aviation industry
  • Detailed knowledge of all facets of maintenance management, including maintenance management systems, planning, equipment and parts management, and maintenance delivery types
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Aeroskills, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Knowledge of operational excellence, LEAN practices, managing a service-oriented organisation, and delivering on service targets
  • Ability to resolve service issues, with strong analytical, and strategic problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer-service mindset toward internal stakeholders
