The role:

Working as a valued member amongst world class talent, you will be implementing controls and standards in the pursuit of advancing the technology and security management systems as a Cyber Network Security Specialist.

We are seeking an individual who is driven to solve challenging and technical tasks within a leading Wakulda Cyber Security Team. The position requires you to assess and remediate Wakulda Systems in order to meet specific accreditation requirements as per the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective ability to operate within a team with the goal and responsibility of implementing classified security information, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to problem solve and act accordingly to achieve set objectives.
  • Have the capability to employ solutions to networks and hardware.
  • Able to provide recommendations of procedures or information systems solutions to support engineers in security control projects.

Skills and experience to be successful:

  • NV1 Clearance essential
  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance - upon success of application you will be required to effectively undergo the security clearance vetting process at the top secret negative vetting 2 level.
  • MUST be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and MUST have lived in Australia, or have a checkable background, for at least the preceding Five years.
  • Knowledge of National Defence security frameworks, policies and procedures
  • Understanding of Australian Cyber Security Center Information Security Manual
  • Able to provide the following industry recognition qualifications (CISSP, CISM, ISO 270001, IRAP, DRAP, etc.) and or relevant experience.
