The Qantas Loyalty team are looking for someone who values the big picture and enjoys a challenge! As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be collaborating with Product Owners to create, verify and build products for our customers. You are always learning, open-minded, collaborative, willing to experiment with new ways of doing things and open to receiving and providing constructive feedback.

You'll have:

  • Demonstrable development experience and a strong understanding of JavaScript, CSS and frameworks including React, Node, Next, GraphQL etc.

  • Experience with enterprise content management systems (Contentful, AEM)

  • Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Lambda, Dynamo)

  • Ability to write elegant, performant and maintainable code that adheres to coding standards

  • Extensive experience with version control tools like Git, Bitbucket, CI/CD, code reviews etc

  • An understanding/knowledge working within an agile environment and have a pragmatic and flexible approach

  • An ability and desire to learn new technologies and understand their applications

  • Experience with microservice tools (Docker)

  • Skills in leading meetings, documenting test deliverables, testing and providing status updates to management

  • Have a relevant Degree/Qualification or 7+ years experience
