The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic digital marketer to build our digital footprint. Reporting to the Executive Manager (Marketing & Brand), the Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing the digital marketing strategy and projects. 

The role is responsible for website management, campaign planning and the implementation of digital initiatives including social and display advertising, EDMs and SEM/SEO with the aim of increasing site visitation, driving leads and building audience connection.

This is a full-time role located in our Brisbane Corporate Office. 

Typical duties include:

  • Working with the Executive Manager to develop the digital marketing strategy with a view to increasing brand awareness, visitation and acquiring new audiences. 
  • Planning, implementing and evaluating digital campaigns including media selection and scheduling, campaign messaging and creative execution (e.g. Facebook Ad Manager and Google Marketing platform). 
  • Managing the design, functionality and content of websites and digital assets. 
  • Optimising SEO/SEM. 
  • EDM development (i.e. newsletters, marketing, events). 
  • Analysis and reporting onperformance and digital marketing metrics using analytics tools (e.g.Google Analytics).

About You

We are looking for a skilled candidate with proven digital marketing experience. Candidates must have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

To be considered for this role you must address and satisfy the following selection criteria:

Selection Criteria:

Essential

  • A degree in marketing or a related field (or equivalent in market experience). 
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing (minimum 3 years). 
  • Demonstrable experience devising and managing end-to- end SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns. 
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels. 
  • Content Management System experience. WordPress preferred. 
  • Email marketing platform experience. Mailchimp preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). 
  • Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords and Facebook advertising campaigns. 
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking. 
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in digital marketing for a not-for-profit or charitable organisation.
