Reporting to the Quality Manager, we are seeking expressions of interest from applicants who have formal qualifications in NDT techniques, ideally within the aerospace industry:

To be considered for this role applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Have formal Qualifications and/or Certifications in NDT Techniques (LEVEL 2) – with specific expertise in conducting FPI (Flourescent Penetrant Inspection) & MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection) tests
  • Highly regarded – but not essential would be expertise in conducting ETI (Eddy Current Flaw Detector)
  • Possess a minimum two years’ experience working autonomously in a non-destructive testing role
  • Must have an exceptional “Eye for Detail” and have strong knowledge of “ASTM” (American Society for Testing Materials) testing requirements and specifications
  • Experience compiling and completing company and customer production and maintenance documentation
  • Competently operate specialist testing equipment and interpret and document all results, which will be subject to stringent audit requirements by external government parties
  • Possess strong computer skills to complete all work flow processes and ensure full traceability of all approved components
  • Complete inspection of products to exact specifications and authorisations – both production & maintenance
  • Have a solid work history which can show stability and the aptitude to learn
  • Have excellent Communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work well as a productive team member
  • Have strong regard for Safety and the welfare of others and actively participate in the OH&S and Quality programs
  • Be flexible and adaptable to support the needs of the business with start/finish times and overtime
