Responsibilities

  • Extend existing solutions and set up projects for success by considering future design & integration based upon Product/Technology Roadmaps.
  • Develop, train and be influential in building BDA's expertise in your field.
  • Support executing programs with technology refreshes and implement best-in-class methodologies and tool sets.
  • Assisting projects with engineering reviews, estimation, make/buy decisions.
  • Technical leadership within the relevant domain area - developing architectural solutions and/or leading software product development activities through the product life-cycle.
Experience

/Qualifications
  • Exceptional understanding and experience in the application of contemporary Engineering methodologies, configuration management, toolsets, and integration.
  • Experience developing software engineering teams in a Defence environment.
  • Be able to inspire, build cohesive teams and expect more of each person.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills and proven ability to engage, influence and negotiate at all levels with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and customers.
Security Clearance
  • The preferred applicant will be required to successfully undergo the security clearance vetting process at the POSITIVE VETTING level. The preferred applicant must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information for whole of life.
