We now have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Enablement to oversee the key areas of Future Energy with priority areas being: Human Resources, Regulatory & compliance, legal and operations excellence and integrations of business initiatives.

About the role:

The Head of Enablement will ensure the delivery of Future Energy business strategies and operations, through building sustainable capability, systems and processes which are both agile and efficient, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Based in Sydney you will be reporting to the COO of Energy Transition and Decarbonisation and working closely with the Senior Leadership teams across Ampol. This role will have you dealing with entities such as Regulatory and Industry bodies.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Workforce and resource planning (inc recruitment and selection)
  • Oversee negotiations of new agreements, arrangements, and operations with the growth of Ampol's Future Energy business, including generating appropriate approvals 
  • Maintain business relationships with key stakeholders in Amol Group and foster strong relationships and an embedded culture of efficient operations and continuous improvement 
  • Deliver risk mitigation and or compliance strategies for corporate and statutory requirements by internal and external stakeholders 
  • Lead and/or facilitate the building, development and continuous improvement of systems, processes and tools for the relevant business and corporate areas supporting Future Energy

About you:

You will be tertiary qualified in Project Management/Accounting/Engineering and/or business management with relevant industry experience. Able to manage and navigate ambiguity, complexity and uncertainty, utilising structured problem-solving techniques

  • The ability to conceptualise, develop and implement complex proposals in a dynamic environment 
  • Knowledge of commercial markets, commodity markets & supply chain management, legal matters, joint venture operations, company administrative matters and board governance appropriate with subsidiary or joint venture operations
