Reporting to the Operations Manager we are seeking a talented Ancillary & Ward Support Manager, Alfred Hospital to join our high-performing and supportive team. This busy, challenging role will provide coordination of all Ward Support (PSA), Ward Cleaning and Ancillary staff (Orderlies) ensuring optimum results in relation to service delivery, client relations and financial return to Spotless.

ABOUT YOU:

Ideally, you will possess tertiary qualifications in Business or similar together with experience gained within the healthcare industry together with;

  • Excellent computer skills, rostering knowledge and payroll systems experience
  • Solid understanding of relevant awards and enterprise agreements
  • Astute financial management skills with experience overseeing budgets to ensure a culture of sustainable cost management
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to work weekends as required
  • An energetic approach with the ability to plan and negotiate with well-developed communication skills to gain support from a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly regarded)
  • Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero harm environment
