We have a range of products that include the original load controlling device as well as our internet-connected data collection, logistic management and planning software, and input devices. We are at the forefront of the technologies that will transform the construction and resources industries.

The Roborigger product was originally developed by TENSA Equipment and Roborigger products are now in a separate entity with external investors (including TENSA Equipment as a major shareholder), called Roborigger Pty Ltd. TENSA Equipment has successfully been building fully certified lifting and drilling equipment for the global offshore oil and gas industry for over 10 years and is still supplying products and services for this industry. Roborigger inherits this breadth of experience and longevity – we are here for the long haul.

Our focus is now on developing our manufacturing and support capabilities worldwide. We need people who enjoy the challenge of walking on new ground with new ideas and implementing systems that achieve the highest standards in efficient ways.

About the Role

  • Responsible for the mechanical assembly and electrical/electronic integration on new Roborigger builds.
  • Roborigger builds to similar quality standards as required for the offshore oil and gas and aeronautics industries. You will either have experience with such quality standards or be prepared to be trained to work in accordance with such standards.
  • You will be required to plan your work and develop a weekly schedule and work plan for assembly in conjunction with the operations manager,
  • You will maintain a high standard of safety by ensuring job safety analysis is done before new tasks are performed and following industry best practice for manual handling, lifting, and using tools.
  • You will be expected to provide feedback input to design. You will be trained in the commissioning of the units. The candidate must be computer literate and comfortable using a PC to monitor and record data. Basic skills to check low voltage electrical wiring for continuity with a multimeter are also required.

The role will involve taking ownership of the mechanical build and instructing assisting personnel. The candidate must have the ability to plan the work scope and monitor project progress.

We are a growing company and this role offers the potential to grow with the company. It will suit a person who is keen to develop skills in the robotics, lifting and technology areas.

We are looking for people who enjoy working in teams and overcoming challenges and celebrating successes.

Where you will be working

The work will be generally located at our modern assembly and service facility in Wangara, WA. The work will also involve visits to sites when supporting the equipment.

Remuneration

We are looking for team members who are keen to support the success of Roborigger. The package will include employee share options after a qualifying period.

About you

You do not need to match every listed expectation to apply for this position. At Roborigger, we are committed to foster innovation, welcome diverse experience, backgrounds & skills, and we are looking for a person who isn’t bounded by what has been done in the past but rather by what is possible in the future.

  • Experience in manufacturing electromechanical devices or lifting equipment is desirable.
  • You must be a keen learner who has already demonstrated the ability to keep abreast of industry trends and technologies and has achieved self-initiated professional development in the last 2 years.
