Administration Assistant

Location: Sydney

Type: 6 month Fixed Term Contract, full time

The opportunity

Our Surety team currently has an opening for an Administrator to join their team on an initial 6 month term, with responsibility for efficient and effective administration of all aspects of bond issuance, claims, premium receipting and reporting.

In addition to the above, you will also play a key role in the day to day liaison with customers and Brokers.

If you have strong ability in MS Excel and Word, database exposure and an ability to work under pressure, this is a good opportunity for you.

The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintenance of surety records and databases / bond issuing systems.
  • Training of and support of external stakeholders with regards to the bond process.
  • Follow up of overdue bonds & other documents.
  • Processing & issuing of approved bonds
  • Banking and Reconciliation of Premium payments
  • Processing Commission & Expense payments
  • Assist with Broker account reconciliation & follow up
  • Admin tasks as required as part of the role in support of the team

Your story so far

  • Previous administrative experience is essential
  • The ability to create spreadsheets and write and change formulas are essential
  • Word processing and presentation software skills are essential
  • You will also have strong oral & written communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and an ability to use your own initiative
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in Evolve an advantage.
