The Opportunity

We are currently seeking applications for an Administration Assistant to support our Human Resources Department. This is a fixed-term role for an anticipated period of 12 months.

The Administration Assistant for the Human Resources (HR) Department is responsible for providing routine administrative support and assistance to the HR Department’s operations. The role will perform a range of general administrative duties including; collation and distribution of documents and correspondence, filing, scanning, data entry, and maintaining electronic records and information systems for the efficient operation of HR.

The HR Department is a small but busy team, preparing to implement a Human Resources Information System. This role will, along with day-to-day responsibilities, support and contribute administrative support to this project.

This role is Administrative only and will not undertake HR profession work.

Summary:

Role: Administration Assistant, working for the HR Department

Status: Full-time, Fixed Term – 12 month term

Hours: 38 per week, Monday to Friday within standard business hours

Location: LifeFlight Corporate Office, Brisbane CBD

Reports to: HR Manager

About You

To be eligible to apply, you must meet the below requirements. Please note, applications that do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered.

Minimum Requirements 

  • Previous experience in an Administration role (minimum 3 years’ experience).
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Well developed time management and organisation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • An understanding of and complete commitment to confidentiality.
  • Very strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively contribute to a team.
  • Ability to take direction and follow instructions.
  • Able to work autonomously and show initiative.
  • Highly reliable.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working in a health and/or Not for Profit organisation.
  • Experience working in the aviation industry.
